MIAMI – The Miami Regional Chamber of Commerce will present the semi-annual Eggs ‘N Issues Legislative Breakfast at NEO A&M’s Calcagno Family Ballroom beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 28.

The doors will open at 7:15 a.m. for a breakfast buffet followed with presentations by local, tribal, state and elected officials. Candidates from local, state and federal offices will also be attending.

The event is hosted by the Miami Regional Chamber and Northeast Oklahoma Electric Cooperative.

Currently schedule to attend are Oklahoma Representative Ben Loring, former Oklahoma Senator Charlie Wyrick, Chairman of the Inter-Tribal Council Ron Sparkman, Miami City Manager Dean Kruithof, Second Congressional candidate Joshua Harris-Till, U.S. Senate candidate Mike Workman, Oklahoma District 1 Senate candidates John Myers and Micheal Bergstrom, Sheriff candidate Derek Derwin, and County Commissioner candidates Chad Masterson and Jimmy “Poncho” King.

“Eggs ‘N Issues Legislative Breakfast is an event that provides business owners, employers and community members with quality information directly from government officials and candidates,” said Michele Bolton, V.P. of Chamber Affairs. “Each presenter will be allotted time to provide an update on activities in their area of government or their campaign and a question and answer period will follow as time allows.”

The event is open to the public.

Cost to attend is $12 per person for Chamber members and their guests or $15 per person for non-chamber members, and includes breakfast.
