COFFEYVILLE — Scoring a goal in each half, Coffeyville Community College logged a 2-1 win over Northeastern A&M’s men here Tuesday, Aug. 28 in a men’s soccer match.

Freshman midfielder Oluwaseun Koya got the Red Ravens’ first goal off a free kick at the 24:00 mark.

Coffeyville (2-0) made it 2-0 when freshman forward Guilherme Bittencour scored five minutes into the second half. Noriel Meneses, a freshman midfielder, assisted.

The Golden Norse (1-2) got on the board at 76:00 when sophomore mid Danyel Olivera hit the back of the net thanks to a feed by sophomore forward Victor Arias.

NEO had 12 shots, including eight in the second half.

The Norse had only four shots on goal.

Goalie Matteo Crescente faced 10 shots and made eight saves.

NEO travels to Sedalia, Missouri, Sunday, Sept. 2 to face State Fair Community College.
