The Coleman Theatre, downtown Miami presents Steve Hamís Jambalaya Jass Band at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, June 22.
Experience the excitement of New Orleans as this infectious group of musicians swing dixieland jazz at its very best. Featuring Steve Ham, an extraordinary trombonist/musician/bandleader and vocalist, Ham and the Jambalaya Jass Band have performed in concert at the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame for many years. This will be Steveís third time to the Coleman Theatre, as he was also featured in the Bob Willsí Texas Playboys performance where he played the fiddle.
The audience will enjoy music from the King of Swing Louis Armstrong and the sounds of the French Quarter in New Orleans. Hear beautiful ballads such as "What a Wonderful World," "Sweet Georgia Brown," "A Closer Walk" and "Down by the Riverside."
Ticket are $13 for adults, $11 seniors, $8 students and $5 for children. A $1 preservation fee will be added to each ticket. In addition, a $1 handling fee will be added to phone orders.
